Notification:GATE 2013 to be Organised by IIT Bombay

IIT Bombay is going to conduct the GATE(Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering), an All India Examination for Engineering and Technology undergraduate students, for the year 2013.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in Engineering and Technology. GATE is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven IITs (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. The GATE score of a candidate reflects the relative performance level of a candidate. The score is used for admissions to various post-graduate programmes (eg. M.E., M.Tech, direct Ph.D.) in Indian higher education institutes with financial assistance provided by MHRD and other Government agencies. The score may also be used by Public sector units for employment screening purposes. .

i have completed my b.sc in instrumentation... and currently i m in m.sc instrumentation 1 sam.....can i apply for gate 2013.?

on waht basis you have taken the decision to increase the fees of the boys and reducing the fees of the girls to zero for gate 2013. Don't you think that this is horrible decision? How u can justify it? Do u have any justification? I eager to know.

how many times can we appear for gate exam?

In my gate application form,the signature which i uploaded appears to be very small.so can i make any changes for it ???

If you're sure, you can complete course in next before June. Than apply.

hello, i am doing BE in E&TC n i want 2 appear for GATE exam so can i switch my branch to Mechanical or Civil wen appearing or i'll have to pursue it in my branch only..??
